Classes

Most children within the vicinity of Haven are placed into apprenticeship in there early years.  These years of training develop key skills in the craft that the apprentices chooses (or occasionally doesn't choose)

Warrior

The expert weapons master, capable of taking any object and turning it into a deadly weapon.  Warriors have dedicated themselves to years of gruelling training both physically and mentally.

A warriors apprenticeship leaves them with a strong physique and reasonable experience in a wide range of weaponry.

Knight

Mage

Shaman

The shaman is the priest or cleric of a clan.  The apprentices chosen for this role are often intelligent and charismatic.

Illusionist

Necromancer

Sunk into the darkest of magic's the necromancer uses the power of the undead to prosper.  The greatest Necromancers have been known to live for millennia and some have even been rumoured to walk as the undead they control.

By the time a necromancer begins to come to their power they have taken part in may dark and cruel rituals.  Necromancers are ALWAYS evil.

Necromancers are loathed and feared throughout the lands and only by keeping a low profile can they survive the reparations of the many good temples and Knights.

Thief

Assassin

The killer for hire.  Trained to infiltrate groups to reach their targets assassins are resourceful killers able to adapt to most situations.

Given the nature of their employment assassins are ALWAYS evil.

Monk

Monks have realised that if they are to attain enlightenment then they must be mentally focused, capable of bringing all of their mental powers to bare on any issue be it the reason for life or the structure of a tomato!

To allow the mind to reach this level of focus the Monks have realised that they must also attain a level of physical control to match (there is no point in the cold distracting you from that two week contemplation of a rock is there?).

Monks therefore train both body and mind equally unlike a warrior who works on his body and limits other issues to 'how to wield an axe better'.  Monks are superbly fit, resilient and capable individuals, however as they are dedicated to pursuing their own often unexplainable interests they are seldom able to advance within organisations as well as other classes.
